Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!! Hope you all enjoyed your day, and that it has been filled with lots of love from all of the special people in your lives. We are almost at our next break, so I thought it would be a good time to catch up. Avery has two more weeks to go in cast #3, and believe me when I say that we cannot wait to get it removed! Not sure if it is because the last cast change was delayed when he was sick, or because of these long winter days, but it has felt like he has been in this one FOREVER. Unlike the first two, he just did not take well to cast #3. No matter what he did, or how we tried to help him, he just could not get comfortable with wearing it. He has had a difficult time playing, sleeping, sitting, and with diaper changes. His appetite also decreased, although, picking him up you would think he gained some weight. I looked over the cast...and over, and over, and over it some more...but could not figure out what it was that made him so uncomfortable.
